Disclaimer

Effective Date: September 2026 • Publisher: MediaGrab Engineering & Legal Team • Status: Active & Fully Compliant

1. General Information Disclaimer

The information, tools, and conversion utilities provided on MediaGrab (https://mediagrab.app) are provided for general informational, educational, and utility purposes only. All materials and tools are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

2. Conversion Accuracy & Fidelity Disclaimer

While MediaGrab uses state-of-the-art algorithms, WebAssembly libraries, and precision rendering routines to provide faithful media conversion and document extraction, we cannot guarantee 100% exact reproduction in every situation. Factors including proprietary font embeddings, complex mathematical macros in spreadsheets, and encrypted PDF permissions may influence the final output.

Recommendation: Always verify and review your converted files, critical financial statements, and high-stakes documents before publishing or sharing them.

3. Zero Data Retention & Backup Disclaimer

Because MediaGrab processes all files strictly inside your local browser without transmitting them to remote servers, MediaGrab does not keep copies or backups of your files. Once you refresh or close your browser tab, all temporary conversion data is permanently erased. You are solely responsible for keeping backup copies of all original files.

4. Third-Party Trademarks & Brand Names Disclaimer

All third-party product names, logos, brands, and trademarks displayed or mentioned on this site are the property of their respective trademark holders. Specifically:

Microsoft® Word, Excel®, Office®: Registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries.
Adobe®, PDF®, Photoshop®: Registered trademarks of Adobe Systems Incorporated in the United States and other countries.

The use of these trademarks on MediaGrab is purely for descriptive purposes to indicate file format compatibility. MediaGrab is completely independent and is NOT affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation, Adobe Inc., or Google LLC.

5. Advertising Disclaimer (Google AdSense)

MediaGrab contains advertisements served by Google AdSense and third-party advertising partners. The presence of an advertisement on MediaGrab does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty by MediaGrab of the advertised product or service.
